Hosted by BabySmartz Concierge Services and presented by Babies “R” Us, this New York/New Jersey event will feature a seminar by Deidre Imus, and be a one-stop place to shop, listen, play and connect with top products and services for infants and toddlers.
The event will take place on Oct. 4 at the Sheraton Mahwah Hotel in Mahwah. The expo will feature informative seminars by Deirdre Imus, Alison Rhodes and Tracey Serebin.
The featured speaker, Deirdre Imus, is the The New York Times bestselling author of Green This! and Growing Up Green! As an environmental and children’s activist, Imus addresses specific issues faced by children of every age group. Another seminar will be directed by Alison Rhodes. Rhodes has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, ABC World News Tonight, Court TV, CNN, and CNBC among other television segments discussing child safety, health, wellness and the benefits of going green. Also, lined up to speak is Tracey Serebin, the author of the 101 Questions for Expectant Parents: Preserving your Relationship Through the Transition. Serebin’s seminar “Coupledom to Parenthood - Weathering the Changes that Baby Brings” will be an engaging seminar on changes a couple goes through when a new baby enters their lives, the possible conflicts that can occur and how to keep the relationship strong.
In addition to the seminars, the expo will consist of children’s activities, a Kidz Korner with entertainment, exhibitors ranging from baby products, daycare centers, travel, invitations, specialty gifts, parenting services, apparel, local hospitals, financial planners, in home services and more.
The first 500 registered attendees will be given a show bag with great giveaways from sponsored companies. Kiddie Kandids Portrait Studio is sponsoring the Cutest Baby N Toddler Contest. Photos should be submitted prior to the event at cutestbabyntoddler@babysmartz.com. Winners will be announced live at the show. All winners will be contacted regardless of attendance.
