Mr. Richard Kell, Chairman of the Waldwick High School Science Department, and Gary Polez (right) demonstrate a robot that Gary designed and constructed. The robot can walk, use his arms and speak with a limited vocabulary. Gary is a member of the National Honor Society and, last summer, attended the National Science Foundation Summer Training Program in Computers and Computing at the University of North Carolina where he received a superior rating in all aspects of the program.
